CHICAGO (STMW) – A man was found shot to death in the Austin neighborhood early Friday.
The 36-year-old man was found about 3:50 a.m. in the 5900 block of West Midway Park with gunshot wounds to the chest and head, police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada said.
He was dead at the scene, Estrada said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the fatality, but did not release the man’s name Friday morning.
Area North detectives are conducting a homicide investigation. No one is in custody.
