(CBS) – Four people were wounded after a shooting at a party in Park Forest early Sunday morning.
One of the gunshot victims was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition, according to Park Forest Police. The three other victims were treated and released from the hospital.
Police arrived at the scene around 1 a.m. Sunday after reports of a shooting on the 200 block of Berry Street. They discovered the shooting had taken place inside a home where a large party was being held.
Three of the victims initially fled the scene after the shooting and were located at the hospital and a fourth was discovered at a nearby residence.
The motivation behind the shooting is unknown and police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
