CHICAGO (STMW) – A man died after he was shot within one block of his home in the North Lawndale neighborhood Tuesday afternoon on the West Side.
Darrien Jordan, 21, was shot in the abdomen just before 1:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Grenshaw Street, according to the police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Jordan, who lived on the same block on which he was shot, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.
Additional details on the shooting were not immediately available early Wednesday.
