CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was shot to death in a Chatham neighborhood strip mall on the South Side Saturday afternoon.
The 21-year-old was sitting in a car in the 700 block of East 87th Street about 3:20 p.m. when someone walked up and fired shots, hitting the man several times, police News Affairs Officer Stacey Cooper said.
The man was dead at the scene, police said. He was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner as McArthur Swindle.
