BARRINGTON, Ill. (STMW) — A 19-year-old man died after a motorcycle crash in northwest suburban Barrington Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Just before 1:40 p.m., Barrington police and fire crews responded to a one-vehicle crash near the intersection of Hart Road and Route 14, police said in a statement.
The 19-year-old driver of the motorcycle was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge where he was pronounced dead at 3:36 p.m., police said.
The Barrington Police Department’s Major Crash Investigation Unit and the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team are investigating.
