CHICAGO (STMW) – A man and a woman were shot Monday night in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.
The two were sitting inside a van about 11 p.m. in the 3500 block of West Ohio Street when they heard gunshots and realized they were struck, police said, citing preliminary information.
The man, 29, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg while the woman, 38, was shot in the ankle, police said.
Their conditions – or which hospital they were taken to – were not immediately known.
No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
