(STMW) – Four people were rescued from a boat that sank in Lake Michigan on the South Side on Monday afternoon, according to fire officials.
Crews first responded to the boat just before 5 p.m., Fire Media Affairs said.
The boat was in the lake off of 31st Street, and had sunk as of 5 p.m., fire officials said.
Emergency crews safely rescued all four people aboard, Fire Media Affairs said.
