CHICAGO (STMW) — Two men were wounded in a shooting in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side Saturday afternoon.
About 12:40 p.m., the men–ages 22 and 25–were shot in the 2000 block of West 79th Street, police News Affairs Officer Ana Pacheco said.
The 22-year-old was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with three gunshot wounds, Pacheco said. The 25-year-old was in serious condition at Christ after being shot in the arm and leg, police said.
Police think the shooting may have been gang-related.
No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
