CHICAGO (CBS) — The Mega Millions jackpot has reached $400 million for Friday’s drawing, making it the second-largest payout in the game’s history.

The winner who takes the lump-sum cash payout would receive $216.4 million.

Five tickets in Tuesday’s drawing matched the first five numbers, winning $1 million. Those tickets were bought in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey and two in Ohio.

Tuesday numbers were: 5 12 22 41 65, with a gold ball of 13.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 258,890,850.

In Illinois after you pay 25 percent in federal and 5 percent in state taxes your one-time take would be $151,480,000, according to USA Mega. For those living in Indiana, the payout would be $154,947,000, after paying federal and 3.4. percent in state taxes.

With that kind of money, you could buy Michael Jordan’s Highland Park estate at an upcoming auction (about $21-$29 million) and also buy a massive city residence–the penthouse at Trump Tower ($32 million) and still have about $90-100 million left over.

The jackpot is the fifth-largest in North American lottery history.

The biggest Mega Million jackpot of $656 million was won in March 2012.

Illinois was among three states that sold winning tickets.
