LANSING, Ill. (CBS) – Lansing Police are investigating the death of a child in Lansing on Wednesday.
Lansing EMS and Police were called to a home in the 179th block of Wildwood Avenue for a medical emergency and found and unresponsive child in the home. Police are currently conducting a death investigation.
Neighbor Dora Jablonski says police cordoned off her home and much of her block, she says, without revealing much about why.
“I saw police cars and yellow tape and had no idea what was going on,” said Jablonski.
The name of the victim is being withheld and the cause of death is unknown.
