CHICAGO (STMW) – A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Wednesday morning in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side.
The shooting happened about 7:40 a.m. in the 5800 block of North Kenmore Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said.
The man, 23, was shot in the abdomen and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious but “stable” condition, police said.
Area North detectives are investigating.
