HARVEY, Ill. (STMW) – A man died Sunday after he was fatally shot in south suburban Harvey.
The man, thought to be in his 20s, was shot in the 14900 block of South Main Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he died at 10:49 p.m. Sunday, the medical examiner’s office said. He was unidentified as of Monday afternoon.
An autopsy Monday found he died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.
Harvey police had no immediate information on the fatality.
