CHICAGO (CBS) — The westbound lanes of Interstate 80-94 were shut down on Wednesday when a semi slid off the road.
The accident happened near Ripley street in Lake Station.
State Police have been warning that roads are slick after about seven inches of snow fell across Northwest Indiana overnight.
All westbound lanes were blocked.
Camera images from the area showed portions of the road were snow-covered.
A deadly chain reaction accident killed three people last month, farther to the east on the interstate, near Michigan City.
