NORTHLAKE, Ill. (STMW) – A 94-year-old man died Monday morning after he was struck by a vehicle in west suburban Northlake.
Henryk Majchrowski, of the 4600 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, was struck by a vehicle in the 300 block of East North Avenue in Northlake, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. He was taken to Kindred Hospital Chicago North and pronounced dead at 10:37 a.m.
An autopsy conducted Wednesday found Majchrowski died of heart disease and injuries caused by an automobile striking a pedestrian, according to the medical examiner’s office.
A representative from the Northlake Police Department, which is investigating the incident, could not be immediately reached for comment.
